Land & Sea Tour

Duration: approximately 3 ½ hours

 

You will experience a fully narrated Intracoastal cruise on the "Carrie B."  See Ft. Lauderdale's "Homes of the Rich and Famous," exquisite yachts docked at the Bahia Mar, Pier 66 and the world renowned yacht basins at bustling Port Everglades.  After your "Carrie B" trip, the bus will continue with a City Highlights Tour within the city's downtown and historical areas including the Arts and Sciences District and trendy Las Olas Boulevard.  Then it's off to the airport in plenty of time before your flight leaves.

Florida Everglades

Duration: approximately 3 hours

One of the most unique natural areas in America, the Everglades covers a large portion of Southern Florida.  A short half-hour drive from Ft. Lauderdale will take you to this expanse of swampland famous for its natural beauty and abundant wildlife.  Your tour will include a fascinating half-hour ride on an air boat into this vast wilderness.  Here, you will observe a variety of birds including the Birds of Prey Exhibit, fish and other animals that live in this curious corner of the country.  You will also have the opportunity to see the most famous inhabitant of the Everglades, the alligator, on a narrated tour of the Reptile Exhibit.  As part of the tour, the history and culture of Indian life through art and traditional artifacts will be seen at the Indian Village.
